Don't want to be Devil's advocate but Ava Max' streaming numbers are not that bad on Spotify and globally. 

King and Queens : 72M streams with no big radio support is quite impressive imo.

Honestly I heard SL on the radio and on TV more than anything Joanne or ARTPOP related (except DWUW maybe). And Chromatica album sales are far from what we could call flop in France for the moment

Charts are not only what makes a song a 'success' or not in some countries tbh
