Yeah the Dutchies are just very anti-KPop in general, so I don't think they will support it, especially the radio. The biggest radio station has the "Alarmschijf" thing weekly which is just a Power Rotation for 1 new released song that they think that will smash later on to push it a bit. Each week they choose a different song.

Stupid Love never got that push at all, so I don't think they'll do that for Sour Candy, only when there aren't other decent songs/releases to choose from.

Just visited the ATRL thread on Chromatica’s US sales and whew chile the goalpost moving  

it went from “solo #1 album” to “can’t even do 200k pure sales” to “can’t even get a platinum album” to “solo platinum album” and now it’s “solo multiplatinum album”

In my opinion both albums are EQUAL GOOD. But FN is the first big album for Dua Lipa (grammy winner for Best New artist), while Gaga has been in the game for more than a decade, and the Grammys tend to be stricter with older artists. 

Btw, I think Fine Line is above Chromatica and FN.

For some reason, one person can put out quite a basic album like FN that sounds like a combined effort of every 1998-2001 producer and be called a visionary, a great album, fresh air

😭😭😭 Why are you bringing Taylor Swift into the conversation as if my predictions were a shade towards Gaga? 

But yeah, maybe these are getting the same amount of grammy wins as Gaga got #1 solo hits since 2011. 😉

In terms of hits, both have exactly one big hit, and I think ROM will get closer to DSN in terms of success by the time the voting period begins.

As far as critical acclaim goes, the grammy doesn't care at all about Metacritic score, what matters is that both are acclaimed, so they're pretty even here.

Katy just performed Daisies (again) and Firework at the Graduation thing. To think Gaga would've probably performed ROM before changing plans  Her speech was beautiful and necessary.

I wish Gaga had performed at the YT event, it would've given the push we need for a second week at #1... All other artists performed something, even KT which is about to give birth any minute now.
