no, we're trying to change a sociopoliticoeconomic system that permits the genocide of black people. furthermore, it is totally a fair generalization to say that all cops are bastards. until the "good" ones do something tangible, they're all accountable because they're the ones with the weaponry attacking civilians.

it's not ignorant, it's reality. police are not a race; they can choose to not be pigs. black people can't take off their skin.

she's generalizing all police - read the damn tweet. it's very ignorant and problematic, regardless of group, to generalize every single person in that group based upon the actions of a few. just look at the police that have killed black people for being black - why have they done it? because they generalized and treated every black person like a criminal, thug or dangerous. it's wrong and problematic and it solves nothing. i love Marina, but she's ignorant for saying that.

so you clearly see racism as only existing in the individual level. you need to read about how systemic this is first.
