Butters Stotch 5,364
I have a doubt about SFA lyrics. I totally hear "Before there was love, there was silence", but the booklet I got says "Before there was us, there was silence". What to do you guys hear? What is the truth? I honestly feel like Love makes more sense, given the fact that the inspiration behind the song is how she considers music to be "her god", and "before there was love" could mean before there was God=Love=Music, there was silence. I hear love and think it is love. The booklet isn't always reliable, I don't think any of Gaga's booklets have been accurate 2 minutes ago, The Fame said: "Gum Gum, unwrap me" I thought she was saying that to coincide with the candy theme. Wait what is she saying? I've been hearing "Gum! Gum! Unwrap me!" too
Red 97,987
Literally I don't know if the line is "before there was love there was silence" or "before there was us there was silence" cause the streaming lyrics say love and the booklet says us and I hear both If you see me posting like crazy, I'm either bored or procrastinating. I literally said the same thing lol "us" makes more sense with Gaga's saying in the Zane interview she believes the world was created by a sound, befere we existed there was silence, after the sine, we existed.
