a LOT is going on right now. Show some f*cking respect and human decency. the last thing we should be prioritizing is a damn livestream listening party. it's not the end of the world and it will be rescheduled. You need to realize what's more important. We do not care about your cancelled plans or hurt feelings or flawed opinions on what a "normal" country may be. What we do care about is black people being M U R D E R E D by police.

I perfectly understand what is going on right now in the world. But I think music is about healing. Lots of stuff happened during her last projects too but nothing stopped her in the past. Also, this era has already been postponed since March. I think we deserve some happiness now, since we just came back from a global pandemic. We've been through a lot as a fandom, as a country, as people. We deserve to be happy. Chromatica is the cure of 2020

I appreciate and support her choice and reasoning in postponing the listening party. Thank you Gaga.

The album will still be here next week, or whenever she reschedules it to. I'll be just as happy to play through it again then as I am right now today. It's gonna be on repeat for a while in my house! I assume it will be for many of you, too.

You can still have a listening party with your followers and fan groups today, if you still have the time and inclination. Let us practice empathy and a sense of perspective in the meantime.

she would be torn apart on social media if she sat up on a livestream talking abt positivity or spreading kindness during a time like this. it's in bad taste right now.

Chromatica has nothing to do with race relations and playing songs on a livestream won't suddenly solve all the issues going on in the West, but what could help is taking time to focus and prioritize spreading awareness and raising funds to assist with those who have been wrongly arrested for protesting for example, or pooling money to give to blacks for reparations, calling congresspeople, SOMETHING productive.

I feel like sometimes you guys forget that Gaga does philanthropy as well, she isn't just a musician. Her entire career she has taken time and effort and intent towards making legitimate strides with social issues, and I'm sorry but simply brushing it under the rug and saying "music is about positivity and love/whatever" can't keep being our response. it doesn't ACTUALLY help long term.

Gaga's always been about helping others out and fighting injustice. If you wanna go stan just a regular popstar who doesn't give a **** about social issues,then stan someone else. I think it would have been absolutely tone-deaf for everyone to let the listening party to go on given the unrest that's ensued online, especially on Twitter, in the last few days. I 100% support her decision to not have it now, period. And I mean, she will be postponing it, so it's not like it's a total lost cause.
