Let's stop with this. Black people protested peacefully, knealing during the national anthem over countless other things, and were told that 'this is not the way to do it.' The entire system is designed against them, and has proven time and time again that protesting peacefully will not bring them their rights. Black people do not and shouldn't care if whether anyone else thinks this is the way to do it or not. They are fighting for the long list of brothers and sisters who have died at the hands of white supremacist policemen and have never recieved justice for their murder. That is something that non-black people will never understand and have absolutely no say in.

Did it ever cross your mind that they may have destroyed black owned bissnisses how is that helping anyone

This is my neighborhood. Literally live on that street. 

 

I am proud of my neighborhood and it's strength. We fight for social justice. We are tireless and united. 

 

However, opportunist, white supremacist, alt-right, proud boys are all gathered here from out of state to cause destruction. My neighborhood is still gathered peacefully, starting to clean up and rebuild the community. Still mourning and celebrating George Floyd and all of our Black and Brown brothers and sisters we have lost to racist violence and injustice. 

 

I hope Gaga makes a music video related to this... Example: Replay being about Trauma. It could be the most powerful thing she does. She should show her solidarity somehow. Every race, gender, religion, age-group is coming together to demand justice and peace.

secondly, you really dont know anything abt me because i have been at protests so your point is nonexistent

thirdly, the majority of the looting and such is done by white people and police, not actual protesters

fourth, even if it was, it’s a valid form of protesting because it creates an issue for the government

fifth, minority owned businesses are fully not being targeted, in fact they’re encouraged to put up BLM signs so they’re distinguishing from others. The looting and destruction mainly happens at bigger, chain stores

sixth, the people died at the hands of the police, not the protesters

seventh, the protests aren’t even about voting, theyre about police reform/defunding
