My point is that the lady is obviously a loony so why stay to videotape her? Just move on, no? 

Because she was threatening him and called 911. 

Once she started getting hysterical, it was going to be her word against his...and he knows that chances are he will not be believed. He needed proof that he was keeping his distance and wasn’t threatening or attacking her in any way. 

He understands the racial disparities in this country and knows he has to protect himself.
