You're comparing Democrats and Republicans "allegiance" to presidential candidates. When the two of them are compared side by side, it's quite obvious that they're not equal. You're creating a false equivalency between the two of them, that's all I was pointing out.

Liberal, Dem feminists are out here saying they'd vote for Biden even if he boiled babies. The cult left is no different from the cult right. Where are the principled people in our f*cked up country?

I’m sorry, what? Because a lot of people are t siding with your point of view? What you said about This being worse that anything trump has ever said is a REACH. And it’s obvious. Just because people aren’t agreeing with you doesn’t make them trump supporters. You need to learn to take other opinions and realize you aren’t always right.

That comment was not directed at people who did not agree with me. But im seeing ALOT of comments saying "did he lie"?! and alot are agreeing with what Biden said which is racist! And the ones who dont agree with him are making excuses and acting like it did not happen, or its not a big deal.

I dont think im always right and I love when someone disagrees with me and have a nice argument about it. I only get aggressive when people attack me personally.

Biden was not my first pick, 2nd or even third pick. I was surprised when eh got the nomination. A lot of what he is saying or doing is being taken out of context by trump supporters; or democrats that are upset that he got the nomination. They are blowing it out of proportion to make him look worse. It’s a fake outrage to push a narrative. This narrative is what is going to get Trump re elected. I’m not happy with Biden being the nominee, but my end goal is to watch out for the well being of this country. I don’t want four more years of Trump. He will do more damage. Biden will at least stop and even possibly reverse damage if nominated, which will allow less of a mess to clean up, in 4 years. Being upset and dragging Biden, is only going to get trump elected- the outcome of that does nothing for fellow democrats, minorities, gays, women, universal healthcare, etc. You might as well be a trump supporter because you will get the same outcome.

It's one thing to say "Yes, I acknowledge that this was a poor statement or bad choice but I will still vote for him" and it's another to entirely deny it.

What some people are doing is denying that this was a bad or problematic statement entirely which is just provably false. There's no justification. We've all seen the video. It was completely unprompted and showed so much overconfidence and bad attitude.

So I guess my question to you would be, what outcome do you want? Do you want an apology or an acknowledgment? Or Do you want him to lose the election in November? That’s where my confusion comes in. Yes he said the wrong thing, maybe we should talk about it. Is dragging him the right thing? The outcome I want in November is trump out of office. What outcome do you want?

I want Trump out of office and I hope Biden wins.

That said, I believe we shouldn't be hypocrites and we should hold people who are "on our side" to the same standards we hold others to. Dragging him is the right thing and he did already apologize for it. My concern is for us not to become actual monsters along the way and defending just about anything in a cult-like manner only to protect our fave.

My principle is simple: if we wish to call somebody else out for something, we cannot engage in the same behavior. Just think if a Republican made a similar remark. We would be mad and rightly so.

Is it unfair that "the other side" gets away with worse and we apparently don't? Sure. But does that mean we can stoop to their level and still maintain our moral superiority over them? Absolutely not.

You basically just did what you attempted to accused me of :saladga:

"Just because people aren’t agreeing with you doesn’t make them trump supporters. You need to learn to take other opinions and realize you aren’t always right."

Lol- nice try. You were literally calling people trump supporters for not having your stance. I was stating the same outcome(trump being elected)  will happen in November if you don’t vote for the democratic  Nominee.

No thats not what I did, I explained this to you but you just insist on having a bad faith argument.

I compared people agreeing with Biden racist comments to Trump supporters.
