If you have a radio deal, then you get +20M on the first friday. But imagine the song is ****, then every radio decides to give 0 spins after that deal. Then every day of the week you get +0M updates, but remain at 20M total audience. Come next Saturday, you'll get a -20M update because no one spun your song, and you end up with 0M total audience. If it keeps going until the Sunday, then you'll end up with two more +0M updates and a total of 0M audience for the Mon-Sun period, which is what counts for the first charting week. Last chorus is Gaga singing the chorus, Ariana and Gaga both doing harmonies. So it's more of Gaga overall. I think people might be confused and thinking that some of the Gaga parts are Ariana because gaga doesn't usually use the light head voice that she does in this chorus. Not sure how to make it clearer, maybe a radio expert ala @TheCureinMalibu could be of help here. Having a radio deal on the first friday will not make or break a #1. The song will have by next Friday the exact same audiences it would have had, had it had a first day radio deal. The rolling (or lack of if no deal) will balance it after a week.
