The fact that she didn't mention any female writers or alt female singers who allegedly criticized her is really interesting. She knew that would lead to a frenzy. Which makes me think that she had no bad intentions whatsoever by mentioning Beyonce, Doja and the others. I can totally imagine her being so clueless to how offensive the statement may seem.

This is why I’m making the point that the same people who get upset when people shame the decisions of strippers are the same people mad about Lana singing about enjoying being in a submissive relationship. I think sex work is respectable and I think what Lana sings about is respectable.

What even made her come out with this statement? It seems so unwarranted. The first paragraph really wasn’t needed and if any of you have heard Gaga’s latest interview with Zane Lowe about how female artists put her down and didn’t give her guidance well this is what Lana is doing right here to young female artists.

I’m so confused since Lana has some rather provocative and sexual music. Ride music video has her against a pinball machine with a man behind her? This is really disappointing but if it’s publicity she’s after to promote her next album it’s worked.

You can search Google how they tried to get #1 or for that matter few other singers who used lots of tricks to get #1 spot. 

See I am not trying to hate on specific singers for doing so. I understand they have a career and label behind them but music should not be made only for getting that #1 spot is what I want to advocate because music has a huge important in most people's life and bringing unity. See how people in 1990s of 1980's or even earlier made music for humans. Not for #1 charts.

she’s literally just saying those people have hit songs with the kind of material that she’s been criticized for. she never said anything bad about them.
