Does anyone know when the factories will start the printing/pressing of Chromatica?
Any guesses? Intel?

I hope they start a bit sooner than normally, to ensure they arrive on time, because of COVID?

CDs typically are needed to be in shops warehouse at least a week before sale date. So maybe it is printing by now?

I would have thought they're at least half finished printing by now. We have like 10 days left

I'm gonna assume they're going to be shipped out to major retailers by this coming Thursday or Friday. I'm expecting booklet leaks shortly after that unfortunately :toofunny:

They are right now, 90% sure. Shipping worldwide should start next Saturday

I didn't ask for a free ride, I only asked you to show me a real good time.

If albums are coming on time, which I assume they are, then they'd have to be pressed this week and sent out by Monday,

Omg if they haven't print, what did Gaga signed :wtfga: or has she not signed yet! She has to stay up to sign the signed copies of Chromatica :ohno:

And when you say my name, like white horses on the waves, I think it feels the same, as an ocean in my veins.

I think they start printing very early on. I mean, first they have to do testing, like "Does the printed side of the CD look OK?", "Are the tracks in the right order?", etc. I bet Gaga has a lot of saying for this. Then, the booklets need to be printed, the hardcover editions need to be printed, the CD cases need to be prepared ( background behind the CD, booklet, the CD itself ). Also, millions of copies are printed.

There's a lot of work behind it many seem to forget. I bet the printing is already done (maybe even months before the intended release date), also taking into account the original release date was in early April. So I think it's very likely the copies are already printed and are shipped now to physical and online retailers. CDs only get shipped after the release date to avoid unintentional leaking bc somebody got their copy early.

Spoiler

Please be aware I'm not an industry intern and these are purely guesses based on what I imagine CD pressing works like :awkney:

Why does the UK mail say "Please note that your order contains at least one pre-order. The pre-order(s) will be shipped on their release date." :messga: This makes it sound like they will ship it ON the 29th and not have it DELIVERED on the 29th.

I’ve never had an album arrive in the mail the day of release. It always arrives a few days later.

FML. What's the point of preordering then?? (in normal situations, now my reason was the The Chromatica Ball Tour presale code of course)
