darkchylde 14,857 Posted May 18, 2020 Share Posted May 18, 2020 A few weeks ago I watched Plaire, aimer et courir vite (dir. C. Honoré, 2018) and I was blown away by it. Instantly became one of my favorite films. A few others worth mentioning are The Way He Looks (dir. D. Ribeiro, 2014) and Holding The Man (dir. N. Armfield, 2016). I love watching queer films that are raw and unafraid of portraying difficult situations but at the end of the day the ones with happy endings usually end up being my favorite ones. I want gay love stories that aren't stereotypical or too cliché. Some of y'all will hate me for this but Call Me By Your Name was so overrated....
