A documentary rather than a movie but  :

’Dream Boat ‘ I think it was called? (It’s on Netflix I believe)

it captures many aspects of modern gay party scène culture so  well. It’s like a sociological portrait of that community.

Edge of Seventeen was a cute one! (90s film, not that one from 2013)

I’m living for the Moonlight and Brokeback Mountain praise.

I personally really disliked Call Me By Your Name.

How was no one mentioned Blue is the Warmest Colour ?!?!

Oh damn I also rewatched the first movie from the Wachowskis recently and it’s really good.

The Big Gay Musical.

It's not good but it's definitely a movie and it's very gay

Also this is probably cheating but the HBO Angels In America mini-series is legitimately amazing imo

COOOK

- Moonlight
- Call Me By Your Name
- Dolor y Gloria (Almodóvar’s “Pain and Glory”, I strongly recommend this)
- Love, Simon

and in that order... I think these are the only gay themed movies I ever saw and I’m open for more, I want to really get the feels :messga:

and Weekend, Andrew Haigh.

If it's about LGBT films, i'd include The Handmaiden, Portrait of a Lady on Fire and Laurence Anyways.
