Glamourpuss 29,062
They think they are being edgy. It's also disrespectful to bring up Lina Morgana's death and make jokes about Gaga's involvement in it but they still do it. Not as often as time goes on, thankfully but there's still always one who finds a way to bring it up and make a joke out of it. These young women lost their lives at very young ages, it will never be funny.

JRCF29 8,194
I'm not one to get offended over every little thing at all, but I will say that this particular one seems a bit malicious vs just being edgy. Criticize Joanne the album, but leave Joanne the person out of it Don't Call Me Gaga

Chromatica Island 8,517
They are disrespectful to the whole album tbh, which is rude, it's such a deep and personal album to her. I loved the Joanne album and learning about her aunt and family, it's a beautiful thing tbh, it connected me to her as a person and not just some other pop girl. It’s not funny to joke about. Joanne’s story is so sad too. I think these “fans” maybe haven’t experienced losing someone close to them.
serenity 77
I’ve been a long time member of this forum (mostly lurking) and took a break from the site after ARTPOP. I am shocked at the behaviour of some of Gaga’s fans! I don’t remember it being like this back in the day! People were very supportive of her and voiced their opinions respectfully. I don’t understand the logic in tearing someone apart and being disrespectful but at the same time stating she is your idol? Just doesn’t make sense especially when Gaga is all about being kind to every one

I don’t have the words explain this. She named a whole album after her dead aunt. I mean. Gaga did it. We didn’t do nothing lmao ^^ you placing the blame on Gaga for her fans being disrespectful ♥ Kindness Police.

ladylinners 485
Sad part is that people do say it in the real world. I guess for many who have not dealt with loss in the same way don't see "dead" as a defining word. I used to hate being defined by my mom dying. That's what people in school knew me as "the girl with the dead mom". Dead is true, but it's a harsh word. It also doesn't say anything about the stuggle behind what happened. To reduce Joanne to "the dead aunt" is disrespectful to who she was, and to the memory of her. She should not be defined by her death, which is what she is reduced to when she not referred to who she was. As so many have commented, her name was Joanne. Don't reduce her. Don't hide behind words that take away her identity. Don't do that to anyone. It's far to easy to do as we don't have the capacity to take in all the horrifying things that happends in this world, but every single person was loved by someone and they shouldn't be defined by their death. Even using her passed away aunt for making promo and selling a pop album. I’m sure you’ll can be a bit more critical towards a pop artist and stop judging others sense of humor: you sound so pure and pristine... it makes me laugh.
