But Caution was an amazing redemption E=MC2 had some moments (I'm That Chick, For The Record, TMB) but I have to agree. Elusive Chanteuse sounded like she was literally linking up with the most bland Idol producers and just cutting and pasting her vocals. It's missing any and all Mariah magic. Caution was it tho

Also, lyrically it is one of her deepest albums in years along with Rebel Heart (except some cr*p like B*** I'm Madonna ) Experimental-ish for Madonna I suppose... Experimental music can be memorable - Madame X was not that... also disagree on the lyrics, but if they did the job for you, cool It's a joke! When you give me that look, it's a joke! vulnicura 99
I really disagree with you putting Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz the 1st because... it just doesn't make any sense, as well as putting Yoko Ono's album in your list. They're experimental* albums to begin with, so that alone should set them away from the rest of the pop albums. And the fact that they're experimental albums means that they will be an acquired taste, so I understand if you didn't enjoy listening to them but to call them the worst is just not accurate. *Miley Cyrus & Her Dead Petz isn't necessarily an experimental album but it's relatively experimental compared with the work most of her peers in the music industry release. Karen Don’t Be Sad is a heartfelt ballad, Bang Me Box is a well made 90s inspired sex anthem and 1 Sun is a meaningful well produced bop I agree with your opinion on miley here. Although the album has some really bad songs, it also has some of her best work. Lighter and I Get So Scared are two of her best songs ever imo

Bjork, FKA twigs and Fiona Apple have AMAZING experimental albums. Yoko Ono... I think she is just completely clueless about how music works. She has no technique. She is just an enormous question mark to me. I love her as an activist, but definitely not as a musician. Some imo EXCELLENT electropop albums are Gaga's holy trinity (especially Born This Way imo), Blue Lips, Veritas, Completement Fou, The Night The Sun Came Up, CollXtion II and anything by Daft Punk.
