Like oh hey lemme jump into a glitchy Zoom call and ask my own, biased fans about my new song and ask them to listen to it more even though they’re not the target audience I need to reach with actual promo. Katy’s interacting with fans the same way any other artist can via Instagram Live. Sure, it’s not typical to see artists jumping into Zoom calls and im sure the fans find it cute and fun, but it’s really not “promo” like some of y’all claim could Gaga do the same thing? Sure. Would it blow minds and push a single to a better spot than it would’ve done anyway? Lol no.
