Democrats dont have any chance if they continue to push for the lockdown. In november, there will be a lot more people who will see the effects.

Tbh I think we can’t really assess much until late October. I think for many people **** still feels far away even though it’s right around the corner.

National polling is mostly irrelevant In terms of the electoral college and is the reason Hillary Clinton won the popular vote but not the presidency. I don’t care what the national polling says (especially when he’s leading by far less than Hillary was in 2016). He's losing to Trump by 7 points in all key battleground states. The ones that matter to win the presidency. If his numbers are already that weak, it’s an uphill battle to win the EC against Trump in November. You should also look at the polling out today on economy. The majority of respondents said they think Trump is better for the economy. That bodes well for him as an incumbent.

Before anyone comes for me, I’m voting for the democratic nominee in November.

People arguing that Trump will still win and yet STILL giving us zero coherent reasons why...

I'll say it again and again how Trump can lose.

No huge turnout for third party voting.

Tackling voter suppression.

Campaigning in Wisconsin, Michigan, PA. Hi Hillary. Remember us?

Not having a Dem like Hillary who everyone hated.

Comey releasing a letter that basically killed Hillary's changes of winning a WEEK before the election. An election where millions decided who to vote for within that time period.

etc.

Y'all need to stop acting like Trump will win 100% and start campaigning yourselves. Because he will win with that mindset. That's exactly what non action does. Get your YOUNG friends registered and out to vote.

A) It's 6 months before the election.  A lot can happen.

B) Trumps numbers should be wayyyy higher given that we're in a crisis.  It's actually bad news for the Donald if his numbers are this close.

C) Biden stands a better chance than Hillary.

D) Stream Future Nostalgia again.

The fact that the last two elections, for me, have boiled down to "Who do I think will do the least damage?"

I don’t know how much truth there is to it but an anti-Trump group on Facebook posted that reports were coming in from the WH in regards to Trump wanting to officially seek postponing the election. Basically, there’s this idea that he’s deliberately letting the Heartland of America become a major hotspot for COVID-19 so that he can postpone the election saying it would be unfair since many people won’t be able to vote, OR cry that the election was rigged if he loses. I just really would love for this pandemic to completely destroy his chances at winning. I’ll take Biden anyday at this rate.

I don't really see the similarities. Their pairing as President/VP aren't very indicative of how alike they are. Obama ran on a much different platform than Biden is, and Obama's campaign had a lot more energy behind it. On top of that Obama wasn't well known in politics. Even now, I think Obama will have pushed a more progressive platform than Biden will, and Obama honestly didn't do all that much (either because he was corrupted or because of a GOP controlled Congress).

Meh. They’re both neoliberals.

Biden will never win, periodt. Americans were stupid enough to choose Trump once, they sure are stupid enough to have him re-elected, believe me.

Well it's gotta be one of them....

This can be only because of the lockdown or because of the accusations. There isnt anything else happening at the moment.

But I cant see someone switching to Trump because of accusations, so it's mostly the lockdown.
