PinkJelly 1,825
I think some of you here are missing the point. This man did not show any symptoms and was within his rights to go out clubbing since S Korea had opened those types of venues again. You can’t crucify the guy for *not* knowing he had Coronavirus. FYI only 15 local governments in S Korea have anti-discrimination laws against sexual orientation so this could easily spiral and many of the ‘outed’ people could be severely effected. The ‘Expose the gheys/They can’t keep it in their pants’ narrative only fuels further misconceptions about the LGBT+ community. Whether lockdown restrictions were lifted too soon is another topic. South Korea is encouraging those who went to the club to come forward to trace the virus, ensuring that they can remain anonymous to hide their sexual orientation from the public because it is discriminated against in South Korean culture still. DeleteMyAccount 11,881
Well at least S Korea will be competent and quick in their testing much like from the beginning. The homophobia is unneeded, but the rest of the world can take a couple notes when it comes to the health aspect...

The gheys for going clubbing and the South Koreans for wanting to out them Based on what I read I don't think they "want" to out them. It's more like the patient's fear they will be outed because the family would find out with the testing and Quarantine what the source was If u ask me, it's kinda their fault. The Government can't stop the tracing and give the gays special treatment because of how it might affect them I think it was their responsibility to social distance. They didn't break any laws because the places were open but they knew the risk and they chose to ignore it now there's consequences for that.

March34th 1,973
Nightclubs and bars need to stay closed until at least July in my opinion. Even then it should only be select bars (so perhaps cities could give certain businesses the permission to open to avoid a lot of foot traffic in high-density areas), Also every bar has a maximum capacity, perhaps slicing that number in half for all bars until at least September would be helpful too.
