I don’t think many people cite Yellow Submarine as their most innovative, but like them or not, they’re the most innovative and influential band of this century. I’m not saying that to argue, I’m just saying that they’re treated as the most innovative because they simply are. You by no means have to be a fan, though, music is all subjective .
