Again, context matters: Gaga's infinitely more commercially successful than Die Antwoord. She's also artistically and critically successful in her own right. She *is* in a position where, if she takes a swipe at someone, it's absolutely going to look like the privileged attacking the underprivileged. And in some sense, it is. Musicians are musicians. If they're so below her level like you're implying, they shouldn't be talking **** to begin with. She didn't receive even half of the hate she receives today back in the Fame days, first of all because she wasn't that famous. After 4 years of tolerating such criticism who can stay sane?
