dc1993 1
Look at the posts on their timeline, people (ex DA fans) on Gaga's side :) And no mummy monsters, surprisingly If people are disowning them because of Gaga's opinions of their video then I really ****ing pity them. Why don't people have backbones anymore? You're favourite artists don't have to all get on and hold hands for you to enjoy them, and you don't have to hang on every word they say and act upon things they tweet about. FairyDreams 4
Gaga didn't shade that bad, but what she said was the truth... but in the end, yes she has the right to take a jab back... but in her close circle of friends (like Tara, DJWS), they seem to be bullies. Like for example with Perez, Gaga didn't really say anything SPECIFICALLY, but Tara was tweeting to Perez, and obviously Gaga was in on it. OR when DJWS shaded Madonna, and I think he did M.I.A as well...If she really wants to give a good example, she needs to stop letting her members of the Haus do the **** talking...It goes against how before she just didn't care what people say, obviously now she cares way more and lets her friends do the talking. I am not saying she can't stand up for herself, but the fact she just started doing it, it just seems like she is becoming more self conscious. What happened to the gaga who would go out in weird outfits without giving a flying **** what other lessors think of her? Was it just to get her some attention and now that she has it she is more self conscious? You have to admit, her even responding shows she cares what they think, but why should she? She should just stay mature, don't let her Haus do the dirty work (even though she can't CONTROL them, she's still letting them do it). But overall, she can do what she wants... Doot 2
Which part is false about what I said? That I don't like Shady Gaga. That's definitely true. That she should be better than Die Antwoord? Well, I can't prove that she should be, but I think she should. And I think she is. That it's not going to affect her success? It definitely wouldn't. Or that insinuating that commercial success is what validates art is tacky? True. That's an opinion I can't prove. But it's something I firmly believe, and I think most would agree. What's false is saying that Lady Gaga shouldnt open her mouth and defend herself, because that in turn makes her look "tacky"? I bet that's what they told Jamey Rodemeyer as well. theotherside 0
No, their tweet is. They said she was "larger" then them, and then followed up with them saying, "haha get it? "larger"?". And they are not cooler than her. I saw that bull**** performance for that awful freaky song on J Leno or Letterman whatever it was, and thought that was a SNL skit....then I realized it wasnt. I FINK YOUR FREEKY slays your faves. That song is pretty good and the video is good too. I no longer like them though cause all that shade wasn't needed and it was an obvious stunt for attention. But don't hate on them just because they aren't your type of music.

kupo 201
What's false is saying that Lady Gaga shouldnt open her mouth and defend herself, because that in turn makes her look "tacky"? I bet that's what they told Jamey Rodemeyer as well. This whole post is a big straw man. Bringing Jamey Rodemeyer into it is an ineffective a--logy that grossly distorts both of these events. This is nothing like that, and pretending like it is does a disservice to discussions about the ethical, political, and personal implications of both. And I clearly didn't say Gaga defending herself was tacky. I said Gaga implying commercial success validates art is tacky. And it is. ryhanna 3,507
Not at all. If this is what you call conceited...how did you feel about the fact she dedicated a song to herself called "The Queen". How is using your numerous hits to discredit someone else not conceited?
