Can someone explain how this works to me. The grindr UX seems very rudimentary and intentionally pared down to me so where is there a place for a video to premiere? First Charlie XCX now this and I’m befuddled

She did it years ago, during a very tough time in her career (wasn't thinking straight at all), before any MAJOR public court cases came out against R Kelly. Do not compare. that app is super toxic and trans fetish central. i don’t think that was a smart idea especially kim being transgender herself. 

tbh she should’ve premiered it on a more LGBTQ-friendly place. perhaps collabing with an LGBTQ organisation and premiering it on their site....grindr is just really gross, and filled with discrete straight men who throw homo/transphobic slurs at you if you refuse to have sex with them

It’s unfortunate to see haters come for her on every single thread about her music. In the past she’s kinda hinted at the fact that she currently doesn’t really have a choice to work with him. Meanwhile, rather than assuming that she openly supports him and his actions, we could focus on the fact that we’re seeing a trans artist rise in this industry, which is extremely rare and certainly difficult, and should be celebrated in itself.

(I understand that it’s a really complicated situation and I think about it a lot when listening to her music too. But I’m just saying, I don’t think it’s worth bringing her down constantly. Don’t worry, she already gets a lot of that. I do wish she would be a little more vocal about it, but once again, she’s probably legally bound to silence on the matter.)
