Archduchess 2
lately I was obssessed with Poppy And I ended up watching some videos about her story of abuse and manipulation after watching those videos I became really concerned about her mental health I'm not the conspirational kind of person but when you watch her interviews throughout the years it really seems that she was under some kind of mind control abuse. I don't really like her kind of music even the new heavy metal songs (I love metal) cause they're just too ironical for me but I'm really happy to see her out of character and rebuild her career (Even though I don't know if the aparent liberty is true) So... What do you guys think of her?
Chromatica 7,031
I love her music but as someone who has followed her for a while I can't imagine that she's not a horrible person. There are a lot of shady things she has done and I'm not referring to the Mars Argo situation. I really wish she could've been on We Appreciate Power. River 113,014
Too soon sis We should ban anything that rhyme with F***y for at least a year but to your question, I think Poppy is a meme that didn't really age well.. she should just ditch it and restart her career as Moriah Come on and wrap that blade of grass around my hairy ass
Lucifer 1,987
To be honest, first I thought she was a snore-fest. And the whole persona has never really interessted me in that way. And I don’t really care for the robot thing she got going on. And her weird videos aren’t really something I care for. But honestly, last autumn I fell in love with her I Disagree album, as well as some old songs from Am I a Girl? And I weirdly relate to her lyrics. And I really like the vibe of it all. The way her music goes from cute pop songs to heavy metal really resonates with me. And how I see life. Haha. It’s good music, honestly. can’t believe I relate to a robot

RahrahWitch 6,985
Loved the Bubblebath EP The Robot act was interesting at first but I lost interest but some of the songs after were Okay. After that I just can't get into her Current Music at all.
Jose P 23,341
Never really vibed with her pop music, but I really dig her aesthetic and heavy sound of nowadays. I think she’s f*cking badass.

Doncho 27,241
Her first songs were kinda catchy and I liked her weird youtube persona. Then she went a bit metal and I lost interest tbh
Guest
I like her new album. Her older music not so much. Her persona is intriguing.
JRCF29 8,182
She's definitely interesting. I think of her less as a musician and more as a performance artist, the music seems almost secondary to the robot bit. I like her discography, but I don't love the new heavy metal stuff (you could say I'm no HEAVY METAL LOVER) I kind of agree with the commenters who say the entire thing has run its course and was more appealing back at the start of the peak of the internet era, but I also want to see her live in character at some point so idk Don't Call Me Gaga
holy scheisse 22,126
Woah I just watched that video... I'm so enlightened and surprised! I didn't realize "poppy" existed before she came across titanic Sinclair... I never knew about her backstory, and how she had been coming up in the industry on her own. I like her a bunch more now honestly, and I already liked her to begin with lol. I love her turn to metal pop and the aesthetic, Truly a the fame to fame monster moment. I'm very happy for her now that she is free from that abusive relationship dynamic.
