I don’t think the burning holes are in the MV. They are just using the Chromatica visuals to the ROM artwork. My partner fought me on this last night. He doesn’t think it is. I think it is. Why would she release just a promo pic for the song as a square with the font. Was it good enough to be lead in terms of commercial smash? No. But it was an airwaves smash because of the instrumental. it's purpose was to re introduce contemporary pop Gaga to the world after her abscence. It's a simple homage to her past work - I do think that is quite fitting.
