Biggest fear is that it gets shelved completely.

My only issue with him so far is his childish behavior on social media, at least whenever it's Gaga-related. Sure he doesn't owe us anything but it would've been better to stay shut instead of playing with us in such a nasty way.

My fear is Bloodpop because if Gaga's social media interactions get more and more distant, we're only left with these antics of his. Before SL the drought was torture and he was only making it worse :saladga:

I think he is just trolling us... like she’s been doing for years soo it doesnt bother me at all

Lack of creativity.

With this album it really feels like she’s following trends. SL sounds like a basic pop song that could be anyone’s and it also has that annoying instrumentals chorus that bad songs have had for years. Also the Ariana and BLACKPINK collab and the fact that she worked with Max Martin. I think this album is definitely going to have some bops but it will also sound very generic and not GAGA imo. Also i hate the fact that she included interludes, we all know those are just going to be fillers. I really thought this album could dethrone ARTPOP as my fave but ARTPOP is not bothered at all :huntyga:

Very well said 😷 Stupid love could’ve been way better and I got so ****ing mad when I saw the interludes such a cheesy move those are 3 tracks lost pray the lyrics & sound save it free woman gives me hope

This isn't a fear exactly, but it kind of made me a bit disappointed that the album was tossed around to so many different collaborators. One of the things I guess I take pride in as a fan was the fact she didn't have an overabundance of collaborators on her albums (I don't just mean vocally). Good music is good music at the end of the day, but it's just kind of like a ..oh.... okay. kind of feeling?

If I have any actual concerns, it's the complete distancing and lack of communication on the Chromatica project period and the worry of not knowing when it's coming.

That it flops and we have to go through all the  negative press and the shitty comments from fans all over again. I don't want that for her.

gurl... you just said A-yo was a good song :ladyhaha:

A-Yo is a very good and layered song. Just listen to the instrumentals. It’s a whole mood. If you don’t like country inspired music, then it’s your problem.

That everything gets canceled so we won't get the album.

In every other case it's only a matter of time :lolly:

I’d wait for even till November,I just don’t want Joanne level promo god no

I don't get why people say this... Joanne had a pretty huge level of promo. SNL, Carpool Karaoke, AMAs, Grammys, Victoria's Secret, X Factor, SmapSmap, many magazine covers, a tonne of radio interviews, 4 music videos, Coachella, and the biggest promo there is - Superbowl.

The fact the era still flopped so hard says a lot though:poot: I'd be very happy with the Joanne quantity of promo - but the quality would need to be a huge step up.

It was not even CLOSE to what she did with BTW or TFM tho. Grammys, VMA’s, EMA’s, AMA’s, bus, ‘nother club, nother club, plane, nother club :huntyga: She did none of those. And the performances were mostly mediocre - except for Coachella but that’s a mini concert not a Joanne promo gig. PLUS, the visuals, fashion videos, etc. was so not Gaga. I mean, it makes sense because it was a stripped down era. I’m just saying I would be happy to see her to do BTW level of promo for an album that explores a new world and its society. To have a more wholesome experience, you know?

She performed 2 times at the Grammys during Joanne era (Moth into Flames with Metallica & Joanne/Million Reasons with Mark Ronson). She also performed at the AMA's (Million Reasons). Sooo :huntyga:

Mediocre ? You can say you didn't like those performances but to say that they were mediocre ? I encourage you to watch (again) Joanne on Alan Carr's, Million Reasons at the Royal Variety for example and then think about the meaning of the word mediocre :huntyga:

Yeah those performances and videos were VERY provocative :huntyga:

Look, Joanne would be absurd if the performances were broadwayesque or theatrical so I get why she performed the way she did. BUT they lacked concept, and because of that I think they were mediocre. Because Joanne is a laid back acoustic pop/country album, she didn’t do big productions and that is what I LOVE the most about Gaga albums because that’s the biggest factor that separates her from everybody else in the game. She hasn’t been doing that for a while and I would love to see her do that with an album that is describing another planet. I’m talking Paper magazine shoot, I’m talking the album cover, I’m talking the SL mv. Now that was not Joanne. That doesn’t mean it was bad, but I just didn’t enjoy it as much as I enjoyed other Gaga eras, hence, that’s what I fear for Chromatica.

EDIT: Comparing with her Paparazzi 2009 performance and all of the TFM and BTW performances she did, all the Joanne ones were mediocre. I’m not talking about her singing, that improved. But laid down stripped performances are mediocre for me I’m sorry. Except for TIHTY, and that’s because of the ending. I like theatrical stuff, sue me
