YES, she needs a reasonable fanbase that realizes she's a performer selling a commercial product and a bunch of merchandise, not giving out a cure for cancer for free to sick kids in Africa. Enough with the victim storyline.

Some people here need to take a chill pill and realize the world doesn’t revolve around Gaga. Don’t you see why they target the young kids? Because they know kids will believe anything. Have some common sense and spot when a money grab opportunity when you see one. That’s what’s annoying about this fanbase, they get so caught up with all the political and being self righteous, guys it’s pop music, it’s supposed to be fun and no need to go into world world 3 when someone disagrees with you.

I see you guys bash other artists but when it comes to Gaga, it’s not okay. Wtf? Some people are consumed with parading around her achievements and making such a big effort to show how great she is, shows how insecure you really are to feel you need to bring it up. Who cares? Does that define her? Do you need an award to know she is great? If you like her then what does it matter if someone doesn’t, sheesh

What Gaga really needs is more originality and uniqueness. Okay, this may sound controversial, but her image (think PAPER magazine) is so avant-grade and artistic and wonderful, but compared to the sound and lyrics of most of her songs, they’re so generic in comparison and if they once sounded new when she created them, she kept basing everything else on them, and sadly even here aesthetics now are becoming recolors of things she’s done before.

Does she need new management? Yes, because her marketing is often weak and the way she moved from one team that was so efficient in designing her outfits, to a new team that isn’t coming up with anything but low budget recreations of the past, and low effort music videos, when other artists are shooting short films and making live Q&As and having great viral marketing campaigns, it does feel like her management is out of touch and weak and albeit greedy and cheap.

Does she need new fans? Her fans are the ones who made her. Her fans literally bite anyone who criticizes her. Her fans worship her. Maybe try to impress them with more incredible and original works than replacing them.

The longer an artist has been in the business, the harder it is for them to gain new fans because people already formed their opinions about them. So whether you like it or not, Gaga is stuck with us and there will not be a significant fluctuation in the make-up of her fanbase. Ever.
