Louie 7,318
Not to be this person, but why are people bringing this up all of sudden? I mean he was Vice President the last 8 years ago and all of sudden he's running for President and BAM all this comes up. Again, not being negative or positive on this subject. Just let them keep killing their own mOvEmEnT. I love being a Cuban American that voted for Bernie with her father who fled from Cuba with his family because of Castro The Castro comments in particular are a bit odd to me each time because my dad is more than capable of making his own judgement on stuff and still chooses Bernie but yeah ? He definitely doesn't love Castro either and would probably get pretty upset if someone assumed that of him so can we stop that please... cool cool

I would say that when a men screaming sexual explicit stuff at women walking down the street, which i'm sure everyone has witness, that would be considered verbal sexual harassment. Harassment consists of aggressive pressure or intimidation and I don't find that in Biden's comment. I do find the comment inappropriate, but I personally would not categorize it as harassment and I feel that doing so diminishes the severity of people that go through a sexual harassment episode. Harassment isn’t exclusively about aggressiveness or force. It’s about unwanted advances and power dynamics (often). A grown, powerful man, making comments of this nature to a minor definitely counts as harassment.

Bernie has a history of supporting authoritarian regimes or of undermining the authoritarian bit of it. He is sooo saintly looking for the positive in dictatorships... And ofc Bernie does not support dictatorships but the fact that he sees good in many of them because it aligns w his political views is just..... dumb, he’a dumb. Dassit I don't know who they're coming for I don't get how saying an immigrant directly affected by Castro being upset by an assumption like that and then understating the feeling or his experiences is "coming" for anyone. If my dad is able to recognize the changes Castro did bring about to his country and that Bernie was doing the same while not necessarily endorsing someone, I struggle with understanding the reasoning the Castro thing is brought up so often by many *not* affected by any form of communism or Castro. That's all... cool cool

That's all... No yeah I agree with you. If you haven’t lived under communism or a dictatorship u cannot begin to understand how Bernie’s comments do raise a highly important question of judgement. I’m from Venezuela so I know what you mean. The worst is when Americans try to explain to me why Venezuela is in a crisis, or they point fingers at trump thinking i will have this anti-imperialistic mindset, which I don’t, it’s ridiculous
