I'm asking what they do, not what the partnerships they have do. But maybe its just cause I dont understand how a partnership works in these cases. Are you serious with these dumb ass questions? Just ****ing Google the answers. You are asking one stupid question after another, it's embarrassing. And if you can't be bothered to use Google, how about trying to use your brain? Why would two charity organizations form a partnership or an alliance? To extend their reach? To raise more money? To conduct studies? To join forces and practically have more means to help more people? It's that ****ing simple. Charities are STILL a business, and a competitive one at that, but they don't have to show anyone what they do with every cent that is donated to them, there are specific entities that keep track of that and it's surely not the little monstrosities. Not to mention the other users accusing Gaga and her mother of scamming people to evade taxes and literally calling them criminals.

Program costs are the expenses that are directly related to the work they do—donations, studies, programs, etc their overhead/administration costs account for the remaining 1/3–that’ll include salaries and everything These guys are surprisingly small so it looks like they may not have the same filing and audit requirements I thought they’d have (there are different levels of requirements based on income/assets/etc). We have local nonprofits in my smallish/midsize city that have more cashflow Cynthia isn’t getting rich from this. And the risk of getting caught with any tax evasion bullshit FAR outweighs the benefits given how small it is This is what I wanted to know! Good to hear. Thanks for digging into the research

Babylon98 4,830
I guess I'm also stupid. I'm out of this thread, thanks to people who helped clarify some doubts that I have and sorry if I was asking stupid questions and if I was too fast jumping to conclusions. I was suspicious because I thought this announcment was fishy but really it's clearly not my field of knowledge and that's why I was asking so many questions. Honestly I agree with you on this and it unfortunately made me skeptical about the legitimacy of their work overall. But the more I think about it, and from @blankpaper's post and my own limited Googling about their finances, I am starting to think that was just more them trying to do something they had little expertise in. I did find a few months ago that they were collaborating on a legitimate academic research project with someone from University of Nebraska, so maybe that will be published soon. Harris Walz 2024 1,451
Somethings just not right with promoting your product then donating the "profits" to your own charity. There's no transparency. Not a good look at all.
