Yxilon 5,248
I always felt Anna Wintour has a sort of frigidness and stiffness which does not really tune in the category "serious/professional" she just radiates a deficit of humanity. Andre Leon Talley is THAT B Spoiler Somebody told me he has actually put the Alasia picture in his SALON Everything could be everything (it could mean anything)
Doot 2
She has a movie based after her where her character in the movie is a total evil btch. It's not like that portrayal came from no where.

I'm sure the Kardashians are shrewdly aware of the image they've curated and obviously it's an image that sells magazines, and $300 plastic sunglasses in turn. Celebrity is all about possibility. The Kardashians represent perfect predictability. The consumerism that they embody is as common as the cold. Their $300 plastics sunglasses are worn by people who wear fashion as a form of hiding rather than expression.

It's a double edged sword. Vogue degrades itself by pushing something devoid of intellect or any real talent. Okay well I wouldn't call romcom actresses or manufactured pop stars very intellectual in comparison to a reality TV personality, but if you want to sip the media kool aid that's up to you I guess. Different strokes. The models who covered vogue exclusively for decades aren't artists or bringing anything intellectual. By their very nature they're modeling somebody else's vision. So the pretentious gesturing about artists on Vogue covers seems silly to begin with when the so called "artists" clearly contributed to Vogue shifting from fashion prestige to banana republic and scratch & sniff opium samples in the first place. Vogue literally is full of advertisements for those $300 sunglasses and laser focused on consumerism, so I dont understand what point you're getting at other than the Kardashians are a perfect mascot for the publication in its modern form. There is nothing easy about being in front of a camera, acting natural, and brining life to the vision/clothing/make-up. Modelling also requires a deep knowledge of exercise, diet, and self-restraint. You also need to be business oriented and savvy to be able to charm an artist to pick you out of a line up of identical looking people. Modelling is absolutely an art. It's spineless and degrading to those who work at their craft. Anna is dynasty building, just like Kris and her Kardashians clan. Their strategy seems to be to promote those without a clue and thus kill the competition. But what happens when these two behemoths have a conflict of interest? I can’t wait for their inevitable fallout. Their game only has room for one winner. Both will want to know who used who. That will be some ugly sh*t. I think its more likely they'll formally marry their dynasties together to avoid any conflict.... Its not easy, but your job is to embody somebody else's vision, especially in the context of something like Vogue where everything is overproduced. If your basis for calling the Kardashians unworthy is saying they're unintellectual/not artful, it literally has nothing to do with the job once you get in front of the camera. The Karadashians have no vision to present in front of the camera. there job is to be ordinary (as @Lord Temptation eloquently put) My job was to make somebody else's vision possible. It's the same as an architect and an engineer working together to make a building that is both stunning and within the realm of human physics. It requires carefully curated talent to walk that tight rope.

I guess that makes her just as much Picasso and Einstein as you are. As somebody who just didnt sleep last night because of a project for my engineering degree, years into studying, I'm offended that youd even insinuate these things.💀Making a specific image for yourself takes extreme dedication, that's not the same as talent and neither of those things are replacements for proper education.
