Chromatica coming in May

She can still do interviews and fan events online.  I can’t see her performing other than a few acoustic performances online, but it’s better than nothing.  It was fortuitous luck that a few MVs were allegedly shot before the lockdown, so that’s why they are in a position to release imo.  MVs now count towards streams for the album.

I know that the original rollout would've been better, but I think it's fair to say that, by waiting more, the promo that can be done will be closer to how the original was than releasing it now.

Yeah, it was pricey  but I was prepared for it! All I'm missing is the Target exclusive (will get it as soon we know for sure it's not the same tracklist as the EU deluxe) and that Super Deluxe box, but I'm waiting for it to be sold on European shops

We all ll know what option would win, because we've already noticed this shift in how people are way more impatient than say 10 years ago. And we see how a lot of fans are handling the whole situation with the leaks and all. All of this without thinking of the consequences and not remembering past mistakes or just plain out ignoring them, "because I want and deserve it now!"...

We don't know how all of it is going to go after all, even less because of not having an official date yet, but if releasing in May would mean the release/(part of) the era practically be a non-event, I'd 100% prefer waiting for a better time.

1. I used this gif because it perfectly encapsulated how I felt about this situation lol.
2. I also used this gif because I know this person is partially correct, if she does release the album in may, we will most likely get bare bones promo and then wait to see if she will do anything during the latter half of the summer. And if she does wait to release the album it will likely be leaked in full. I’m torn because I want to hear this album, but I also want her to be able to promote and get people excited about her new era.

Wait till September-October at least. That would be ideal, since obviously the tour and Coachella are not happening this year. But with the leaks this is not going to happen. It's probably her most club/radio friendly album after TFM and there won't be any clubs to play it.
