Yes the protests may be misguided, but for some, they either risk getting covid or are unable to put food on the table for their families. Can you people not understand their desperation. For them, it’s between a virus which the news reports gives you a 1% chance of dying, and totally economic ruin, which will likely kick them out of their homes, split up their families, and make finding food almost impossible. They believe that this choice should be theirs to make, not the governments. GGD preaches about being kindness but are quick to wish death and call names upon to those they do not understand. I think part of it is that a lot of people here live in countries where the government is paying everyone to stay home, which just isn’t the case in the US. Lmao before I even opened the spoiler I was like “talking about yourself there huh” Im lucky that I’m in a position where I’m working from home, would be fine for a few months if I did lose my job, AND could go back to my parents if I absolutely had to.
