Fair, they could improve in that regard but i guess i pay that no mind since i have a case on my phone at all times.  Wait idk to clarify by build quality you mean the physical structure of the phone right?

Battery, storage, ram, build quality, and honestly awful video say hi. I was genuinely thrilled to get rid of my Pixel 2 cause of how bad video recording was 😂 Software is great but Pixel’s have a lot of trade offs for the price. I personally think Pixels should have a starting price of $550 max. $650 for XL

I don't know much about tech haha but I have 0 issues with my pixel 3xl in any way!

OP: not surprised. Androids OS is horrid. Their only selling point is their cameras and being ahead on novelty features like reverse charging. Imagine a $400 being more powerful than a $900 one

It's something different tho. A manufacturer just provides a product for you. You should make a descision on what suits you best by price and offered features. You can like a company for all good experiences you made with their products in the past, but should not hesitate to switch to another company for a better product or price. And you should not defend a company like it is a part of your personality, because that gives those companies more room for price increases or laziness in product development.

Every Apple fan should be grateful for every Samsung buyer and vice versa (and all other manufacturers around), because competition is good for the price and quality of products. You see that with the cheaper Apple phones now, and you see it in the AMD vs Intel war in the PC building community. Nobody gains anything from fights over superiror tech, if it gets to the emotional level, except the companies themselves.
