Now Taiwanese liddos did the same thing. On the bright side she did bring y’all together to hate her. It’s so funny to me . Gaga meeting Dalai aligns with what she stands for. The way Gaga has always been outspoken about human rights and freedom kind of hints that she wouldn’t support many problematic acts of the Chinese government. Therefore being a Chinese monster, realizing your idol doesn’t agree with your country and burning your stan card is very contradictory. If you liked Gaga’s value, how could you agree with your country’s acts. On the other hand, Hong Kong and Taiwan want human rights and freedom. We see Gaga as a spiritual leader. We support the values she keeps on teaching the world even though those values might go against what our governments think. We are being disappointed because her act even though is probably unintentional, betrays what she has been telling the world. It’s not the same as the China case. She can say terrible things about my government and I will still support her because I’m not blindly patriotic. I even hate my government because my government is on the opposite side of the spectrum when it comes to human rights. You see what I mean?
InstantDejavu 571
Asia needs to stop holding mirrors in front of others and start looking into them theirself. They censor everything, hence the doctor who acknowledged the covid virus was shut up and is now dead allegedly by covid. Coincedence? I think not. These parts of the world (and some others) don't know what democracy and human rights are. So how could anyone blame Gaga when they should be blaming their political leaders. Guess Gaga is the easy one to blame as their president will have them thrown in jail or killed.

I even hate my government because my government is on the opposite side of the spectrum when it comes to human rights. You see what I mean? I understand your political belief regarding Gaga’s compliments toward WHO director. I don’t have any comments on that matter. But my country has a saying that when your legs hurt, that all you care about. I think your country’s hurt right now. Of course, you will and have all rights to care your benefits first. WHO is really shady with their pro-China agenda but they are still one of the most powerful health organizations worldwide to help Gaga’s vision. Like imagine if Gaga didn’t collab with them, she would not have such large donation from corporations. And that the donation eventually will help the front line workers and the concert has entertained countless other countries’ citizens. Her controversial compliments will be soon forgotten but her actions live on. She didn’t stray away from her message much to me. I hate that Taiwan is on the opposite side of what Gaga’s trying to do for the rest of the world. But Gaga has to walk in the middle path at some point for the greater benefits. But I don’t expect anyone to put Gaga before their country’s benefits so I get it if you see Gaga or me being hypocritical. Please ignore the spelling in username. I am a Beyonce stan afterall. But just the expection she would need to distance herself from him (or avoid speaking about Tedros at all) after he organized this event with her, is ridiculous in my opinion. I totally understand (and generally support) HK's and Taiwan's stance on this, but it's a systemic problem of the WHO that Gaga has no influence on. People CHOOSE to be offended by so little things everyday, if they wanna do that, fine. Still find it unreasonable.
