I like it but I was really hoping for a ballad type of cover instead of the jazzy one.

It just sucks 'cause Smile is one of my favorite songs in general and I'd love to have a Gaga cover of it that I actually adore as much as MJ's.

Just as I thought, her voice just needed some rest... it was never declining, just a little tired. And now its rested, she sounds amazing! When she did The Prayer, it really reminded me of her vocals in "I'll Never Love Again"

Unpopular opinion I'm sure but I didn't really care for it. The vocals were great and show she still has it, but I didn't like the way she pronounced the words nor do I like her jazz style. I was hoping for one of her own songs or a rock/pop/soul cover. I enjoyed her Prayer performance 100 times more than this.

However, the sentiment is what counts.

I think its so fascinating to hear and see the variety that Gaga's voice has to offer. Sure, the pronunciation might not be everyones thing. But you can't deny the diversity that Gaga has to her voice, and the different layers to it   

I do love all her styles of singing, I loved this performance. It almost sounds like a classic performance by one of the greats back in 1960
