Not to mention they currently have labor camps for Muslim Uyghurs

To condemn the country of China is not racist. There are undoubtedly millions of wonderful Chinese people.

But look at what the country of China is doing. LOOK.
Same can be said for many countries. I live in Canada; Canada has also done some horrible things.

Get the pinot ready, because it's turtle time.

Well, one of my friends moved there because she majored in English and the Chinese actually value teachers there. (It was like 3 years ago though)

I know a lot of people who moved there or studied there. I can understand that China has beautiful places to visit, as a tourist it must be very interesting. But as an expat actually moving there, and being black? I'm not sure there could be more pros than cons...

People moving to China, I don't get it... the air is bad, the food...questionable...& if there's many cases of racism, I don't see how it's a good place to live as a expat :oprah:

Of course there is racism everywhere in the world but if it's very often, it's just not a good choice to choose to live there.

I don' know where you're from but if it's from the US, well questionnable food and racism is quite established too.
By the way, Chinese food is globally recognized as one of the best in the world (of course not the best because it's French food hihi).
However I am definitely not supporting their government. But the people is not worse there than elsewhere.

Um, I couldn’t ignore the blatant misinformation. Indian & Italian cuisines is where the best food lies. :fan:

i'm from France too. You should definitely try and do some research about chinese food, it's pretty interesting !

(some rankings of food in the world)

https://edition.cnn.com/travel/article/world-best-food-cultures/index.html

https://uproxx.com/life/countries-with-the-best-food-in-the-world-ranked-new/

I'm not really into those kind of rankings but if you're in Paris, you should try Plus de Piments, Bao, Tran Tran Zai, which are amazing Chinese restaurants (true chinese food) or if you have more money try Lili at Peninsula and the restaurant of the Shangri La (a one Michelin star Chinese restaurant) :)

Interesting choice how this thread turned into an attack on Chinese food instead of focusing on the real subject at hand: anti-blackness in China. :green:

Black people are losing their homes in China, but sure let’s drag the food. Y’all’s ignorance is showing. :billie:

I ain't got time worrying about not hurting people's feelings. :rip: Only an idiot would think that I was talking about every single Chinese citizen and everything related to China. When you take into consideration pros and cons of China, it's vile. End of story.

@Giorno Giovanna has his point tho. I actually don't care about mainland chinese feeling too. however it is important to point out CCP name too! Let CCP take the blame, they deserve it.
