First, not every of the top 10 music markets has diamond certifications. Second, there are album and single certifications so there's no real common thread there. Third, China doesn't actually release numbers or has actual certifications and the one we have can't actually be confirmed so we should generally exclude China except when we have confirmation by an official platform like IFPI. I think that part is just because people always try to discredit Taylor achievements because she is a"local" artist. But this proof her impact is global, like getting a diamond certification isn't something easy, and of course a diamond certification in Japan or Australia is more valuable than a certification in small countries.
