Was the second performance good??

Much better than the first one in my opinion, but I guess that'll depend on what people like, I think that people that like C2C will be satisfied

If theres 100 leaks in the room and 99 are fake, but only one is real...

I just saw the video on Youtube uploaded by Global Citizen itself.

I'm afraid to share because I want to remain with mine zero WPs :billie:

It's 2:29 in lenght, so quite short just like the song itself.

I liked Gaga's better. I don't think her vibrato was forced. It's very natural and a good speed. But I like about her is how she sings in her modal voice most of the time. It really gives real gravelly grounding to the song. Head voice just isn't the same. And it was lighter than usual but still powerful.

It felt rushed to me on first listen. Also, I think she has less control over her vibrato so it lacked shaping which makes it sound flat (as in boring) when the notes are long.

I thought Gaga sounded a bit off but it was still good. It's obvious no one can beat Céline Dion when it comes to singing. Slay Queen.

When you throw in a tenor like Andrea Bocelli, Celine will almost always win against Gaga. Celine's a lyric soprano and will contrast better against a tenor. Gaga's timbre is darker and more mature.

She looks good and sounds good in her Smile performance. :lolly:

I still hope for a 3rd performance, Shallow is the only way to go.

Let me dream so I can meltdown afterwards :billie:

I've only heard it once so what you're saying may be true for this song but in general Gaga has excellent control over her vibrato :vegas:

You're not supposed to micromanage it anyway. In natural classical singing, you let a fast vibrato happen. You can do straight tone and then let vibrato come on like in Shallow's bridge but I've seen her do a slow vibrato too which suggests she can do it a few different ways.
