I looooooove her.  She's in my top five all time favorite artists.  I'm about to listen to the album with a glass of wine.  Excited. :awesome:

Does she even have a bad album? This is such a breath it fresh air and I love her so much. So far Ladies and For Her at are my fave from first listen. I'm so happy she released something considering I thought we'd have to wait a few more years

Jk, I'm on my first listen and on Track 3. Shameika just seemed very loud and scattered, didn't really get the point of the song at first listen.

Background: I'm a HUGE Fiona S T A N. Her debut album, Tidal, was actually my first ever album purchase at 7yo :ladyhaha: I'm very personally bonded to all of her discography and there is not a single song of hers I dislike. She literally has a golden discography.

This album: I'm finishing track 3 and I must say, it's a perfect continuation from her last album, The Idler Wheel..., as it's very raw instrumental driven and less standard verse/chorus/verse/chorus/bridge/chorus. To be honest, I definitely prefer her earlier work as it's better for easy listening and putting on while you do other things, background music. Her last 2 albums seem to be more story driven and confessional which is fine, but not necessarily what I want to listen to all the time.

I'll update this post once I'm done, but "Under The Table" just finished and I'm LIVING :vegas:

EDIT: Ok, first listen complete. It's honestly brilliant. Going to give a 2nd listen but I definitely was more into the middle/latter half of the album versus the beginning (with the exception of the opening track). To think she used percussion and items around her house, ugh, she's such an ARTIST. Loving it!

Confession time: I have actually never heard any of her albums in full before this one. I've always wanted to but for some reason (laziness) never got around to do it.

This one is such an amazing album, so if people (as I have seen) think her earlier work is even better, then I can't wait to listen to everything she's released!!!
