It's also why I get a little upset when stans get angry at her for "not doing enough" in various aspects. I relate to so much of what this woman has been through psychologically, and when I was at my absolute lowest, I didn't do anything at all but stay in bed for two years, in between hospitalizations. When I think of how she managed to remain in the public eye, make music and tour, while experiencing these issues and chronic pain on top of it, I'm amazed. We're quite literally lucky that she is still here, and people take her for granted. Sure look at how some are talking about the event tomorrow. First they trashed her for not wanting to release the album and wanting to help. They said she was a liar and a fraud. Then the event was announced and they say "ugh bet she will do million reasons, so predictable" or that she should do this or that. Nothing she does is ever good enough. It's no wonder she's kept her distance from fans in recent years, because they are not a good gauge on how her career is. The woman has won every award going in the last 2 years and some are still "she should have done it this way". Hopefully she knows twitter/GGD is not actually the real world view of her. With the right content, functionality and promotion etc. this could really be something! And even in the case of not becoming so big, it would still be worth it. Even if it helps just 1 person, it's worth it It was nice seeing Gaga talk so passionately and eloquently, as always. When she is in her element, she can go on and on, she was talking so much I think Gaga, everyone at BTWF, all their connections, plus Michael and his tech world connections, is a recipe for success “Delete this thread that person is not Gaga he is a hot blonde twink”

Really for posting the whole thing. I enjoyed so much to listen to her talking. I never doubt her heart and her wish to help, to do more and how much she focused on what she is doing right now. But it's always so lovely to listen to her and get reminded that she is one of the good ones, she has her heart on the right place.

The Michael stuff was very sweet. At one point she said she was speaking with "a very very intelligent and well known philanthropist" and you know she was talking about him. And he's working on something with the BTWF! I think she's so happy that she's found someone to really share her life's work with, and I'm so happy for her. Imagine the power couple they can be, saving the world She was likely talking about Bill Gates. He is the only "very very intelligent and well known philanthropist" I can think of. Oprah is a philanthropist, but I wouldn't call her very very intelligent. Sean Parker is both, but not that well known.
