It’s for those who want a cheap, reliable iOS experience who doesn’t care about design. This is not THE iPhone. That one comes out in fall. Performance-wise, It’s basically faster than anything under $800 dollars. It has arguably the best chipset you can get on a Smartphone, same as the one on the iPhone 11. This will be updated for at least five years so you can say that this is of value. Shame, the body looks dated and the screen is bad. And in case anyone gonna shade that ID touch too, well, get ready, in the near future Apple will bring back those, except it will be under the screen. I think the X has oled screen and this one doesn't? Plus the obvious better screen size without the top and bottom vessels. I was about to buy an iPhone 11 last month but then I realized they actually went backwards after the iPhone X and made it LED again. But kept their iPhone 11 Pro OLED so I bought that. Nobody is comparing $400 to a high-end phone but yourself. Which is silly move in itself. And it is INDEED an iPhone 8 body with updated chip, just the way the first SE was an updated 5s, did you even know what you are talking about or read the official press release??
