That restrictions and social distancing is necessary but it must be established at a level that is sustainable and manageable in society for the longer term and resorting to full lockdowns only during Extreme spikes

I also agree with them and even envy them that they were able to take more relaxed measures.

However, I understand that the extreme measures were necessary in some places. As you know, I cant accept them without limitations of time. 

Last week, I've said one month. Now I accept two.  Believe me. I dont like that Ive made that change, but it seems that a good part of the population need this to feel safer.

It's absurd! 

Ppl may not buy much of that stuff during a pandemic but if ppl stay off work for too long demand longer term will only collapse even further and have the downturn last MUCH longer

Yeah... There are spikes where the only way to deal with it are with full lockdowns. I'm not saying they don't have their place as a tool in the fight

 

I'm just saying they can't be what we resort to for an entire year until a vaccine. There needs to be a plan with less severe shutdowns when the number of cases is less severe

 

Italy and Spain were caught off guard 

 

Sweden got its first cases when the virus was already well known and in the media and people understood the importance of being careful

 

So just because things got out of control in the first Nations to be hit hard, that doesn't prove that less extreme measures like Sweden can't work

 

But I guess we will see

Just say that you want, not only Spain's / EU's, but the whole worlds economy to crash causing hundreds of millions of people going through poorness and starvation. 

Lockdowns aren't sustainable for a long period of time. Spain has been closed totally for the past few weeks, which already has effects that will last for decades. It's reasonable to open them slowly unless you want thousands of people dead by other reasons thanks to the shutdown.

I think it's about time to rethink the world's economy, and to find a new economic model. Capitalism is not perfect, and sooner or later our world would have collapsed anyway, covid19 has only accelerated the times.

To cope with this crisis, and also for the future, I think the best solution would be to think of an amount of money to be given monthly to every citizen of the world, regardless of their job. This would also eliminate poverty
