I just think its a bit uncomfortable to put pictures of a man hugging or kissing kids (which i personally do not see as predatory) as some kind of link with the allegations of sexual assault. I know at that age I didn't even know what a Vice President was. To them it can be something like a strange old man randomly kissing them or a boss/co-worker of their parents kissing them. That's about as open-minded as it could be. I just find it strange he's kissing other people's children. I would never want anyone other than my family kissing me, and from the looks of it those kids think the same. I also think i didn't know who the vice president was when i was a kid, the difference thought is that the kids in those pictures are the daughters of republican senate leader mitch mcconnells , as well as the kids of senator coons, who was the first senator to endorse Biden for president. - and i dont mean that to undercut how the kids might have felt uncomfortable. Sometimes we have to look at things from a different angle. This could be a cultural/generational thing. I'm from a country in which we greet everyone with a kiss, so i don't see it as predatory behavior. its a bit harsh to say " at worst he is a pedophile", isnt it? Has anyone asked the kids about it anyway? How did they feel about it? Why didnt all of this come out when he was in the sexual assault campaign where Gaga participated? Just because its hard to get evidence of a sexual assault doesnt mean anyone accused from it should be put in jail immediately, the world doesnt work that way. And before you try to pull some guilt tripping like youve done above, I was constantly raped by my father and my brother when I was 5 through 7, and I still dont believe we should turn the law system into a witchhunt where a simple accusation can ruin someone's life and career. (Being raped was traumatizing but it doesnt limit my chances at life, at a job, at following my dreams, but being accused of something I didnt do, definetly does).
