If you count No Doubt, this is her first Top 40 entry since 2012 with "Settle Down" - a song that deserved better, much like the singles from This Is What The Truth Feels Like. I got into Gwen Stefani about a month ago, is this my impact? The year I got into Lady Gaga was the year A Star Is Born came out. Maybe I'm good luck to artists. If so, Madonna is about to have a major comeback just wait.

it's something I don't talk about here much because I do love Pop so much and it is my dominant genre of music then when I really get in a country mood I remember I know hundreds of country songs by heart and it's so weird like my music subconscious has a whole other side to it 

Plus I am not ashamed because my mom introduced me to country and now that she's gone country music calms me at times of anxiety and depression and reminds me of my mom

I’ve been very into country recently and it’s so relaxing. There are so many gems. For example I love artists like Carrie, Shania, Kacey, Dixie Chicks And non-country artists country inspired songs. At the moment I’m discovering Dolly’s discography for the first time and loving it! Listening to an album by her as we speak. Planning to do Reba after that.
