Joanne is the only album that should be on the poll. Though I do appreciate the album.

I can't believe some of you are choosing The Fame over Joanne.

The Fame rose Gaga to stardom, it had 2 consecutive #1, Diamond and 9X Platinum hits.

Includes some of her best songs ever - PF, JD, Paparazzi, LoveGame, Eh Eh (imo at least).

Joanne is a decent album but it really isn't memorable and wasn't really for actual fans. I

An album isn’t necessarily measured against hits and chart positions. This is not a popularity contest. Joanne is much more cohesive, artistically expressive and mature album in comparison to Fame in my opinion.

only saying Joanne because it is the one i revisit the least. that could change though.

Anyone who says The Fame must not have been a stan back in the day because that album and era was a MOMENT

She has no bad albums, but the one I revisit the least would be Joanne. Though it has some great tracks (Diamond Heart, Joanne, Perfect Illusion, Dancing in circles, Angel Down...) there's still more songs I dont really listen that much than on other albums. Also wishing she would have went more in the rock direction for this album..

I see why people vote for ARTPOP, mainly because of the production, but I have such a soft spot for it for it being my escapism during really hard time for when it was released.

Least favorite: Joanne - its just meh to me. I don't hate it, I don't think its a trainwreck, I don't think its abhorrent as i've seen some people I know personally act like it is as if they can't even listen to it (which honestly they really didnt) lol but I find it middling and it just doesn't.....go there. it just falls so flat on so many levels. I enjoy Diamond Heart, I think the title track is touching albeit I dont go out of my way to listen to it, I enjoyed John Wayne, but overall just meh.

"Worst": ARTPOP - I like this album more than Joanne. I like indulging in the mess that was this era, however, I think its criminally overrated by the fanbase that currently stands and I also think it contains some of the dumbest tracks of her career thus far lol its like a rupauls drag race alum's pop record.... but its by a global megastar that should make something better than that. at least as far as the style of the songs go.

The Fame is absolutely more cohesive and in terms of executing its objective, was absolutely more expressive both visually and sonically. The current fanbase just doesn't appreciate her early work and its because a lot of you hopped on board in your youth when she had already past her peak and I think a lot of you resent the fact that she never made an album that resonated with the general public or critics as much as The Fame+Monster did. Therefore you guys obsessively stan and protect albums like ARTPOP or Joanne or even Born This Way quite honestly as if they're rare gems that everyone else just didn't get. But the truth is The Fame is one of the strongest and most well executed debut albums/eras of all time.

Joanne is not cohesive at all. Its a wannabe folksy/indie hodgepodge thats kinda sorta about her and kinda sorta a tribute to her aunt? A song about bad boys and masturbation following a heartfelt ballad dedicated to her dead aunt isn't exactly what i'd consider cohesive. vs. an album aimed at being wall to wall pure pop bangers, which The Fame was.

Yesterday I came here for The Fame Monster. But after spending an afrernoon re-discovering TFM, I was enlightened how flawless and great the album is. I was so regretful I had to come back and put my vote on ARTPOP.

No, i am not an ARTPOP-hater. I actually enjoy the album till these days, but I struggle for how poorly her ideas were executed (the concepts were so intriguing and original, such a huge waste of potentials) as well as how overproduced the tracks are (they are such good, hypnotizing tracks but ruined completely by their production), how perfect the visuals (esp. The AphroditeGa). I wish ARTPOP era had been fully conducted. It would have been so cool tho.

And no, none of her albums is "worse" or "bad". Her music has depth and spirits I cannot find in other artists'. I don't know why exactly but I really worry for her. I see her later albums have decreased in many aspects compared to TF, TFM and BTW.

I don't have a "worst", I just have some that are more perfect than others.

I abstain.

Also, Joanne deserves respect

Yes. My opinion also. Your wording is perfect.

okay i'm overwelmed

tell me HOW do anyone think Hair is too long? the same song that deserved to be an 80s 15 minute masterpiece???

anyways I voted Joanne simply because of Come to Mama. I love every song on the album, but that version just makes me want to not listen to the rest. C'mon girl was it that hard to make a similar version to the one played at the tour?

the only criticism I agree that I've seen here is that TFM is too short
