Because Sanders is so opposed to the corruption of government power to serve these industries over people, the mainstream news in the USA barely covers his campaign. When they do it's only to criticize or shine a negative light. Joe Biden doesn't get the same treatment because he doesn't have policies/ideas that work against those big dollar interests. Both parties in the USA or more or less the same, both are conservative compared to the rest of 'the free world'. There are few points of difference that get blown up between them like abortion or gun laws, but overall both parties serve the same interest. The goal is to continue the path of neoliberalism and funnel money upward toward industries holding them hostage like military, pharmacy, oil. Just as people were ignorant enough to vote for Biden because they think he can defeat Trump, there are people ignorant enough to vote for Trump because they think he is right on trade and the economy. And then of course there are people, like landlords, whose entire livelihoods depend on nothing fundamentally changing. They can probably go either way. I find it odd when Americans complain how corrupt the DNC is because they have the power to influence someone they prefer to be the candidate to rise... But in most other Countries u don't even get any say in the candidate of a party AT ALL Do u think we picked Trudeau here in Canada? No the liberals Picked him to lead the party just like the Conservatives picked Andrew Sheer and the NDP picked Jagmeet Sing we didn't get to say squat about it The DNC may try to influence or play dirty politics. But u still get to vote at the end of the day regardless of their attempts to sway ppl Now I don't even think ppl picking the candidate is necessarily a good idea anyway but the point is since people in the US complain the party is not giving full power to the ppl...
