The ๐–—๐–Š๐–•๐–š๐–™๐–†๐–™๐–Ž๐–”๐–“ era was Taylor's best

Now, when I say this, keep in mind that this is the best era transition for Taylor. It was a devious plan for murder. She used all of the headlines she gets, throw it out, flip it and useย it into her own advantage. The public was shocked, everyone has their image of her changed. She wasn't the bubblegum pop girl they had, it was Taylor Swift in her most vulnerable form.ย

From the track of music videos starting from Look What You Made Me Do to Delicate, starting to be acclaimed for her visual ideas, to the performances and let's not get started on the holy trinity that is, Don't Blame Me, I Did Something Bad and Getaway Car.

It's certainly one for the history books.

Let's not even get started on how beautiful the lyrics are in Call It What You Want and the bridge in Dress, ugh. And add the production of Dancing with Our Hands Tied and So It Goes... and the iconic laugh from This Is Why We Can't Have Nice Thingsย

How did you typeย ๐–—๐–Š๐–•๐–š๐–™๐–†๐–™๐–Ž๐–”๐–“ like that?

Is it automatic?

Iโ€™ve been a fan of her since the very beginning and reputation was by far my favorite era. The way she took all the insults and bad press and embraced it and made it her thing was brilliantย

That was the era that put me off her the most. I really hated how she was trying to act like a "bad girl" and tried to change her image to a more darker look... yet she looked exactly the same just with black lipstick on :neyde:ย ย

It just doesn't suit her at all. It really came off as fake... like that popular girl in high school trying to act all emo and cool. For me, it was like Taylor trying way to hard to be edgy and dark.ย

The Lover era for me will be her best one. She just seemed to let all that go, and actually show us her. She let down her walls and showed vulnerability, what her passions her, what is some of her views on politics for example, and she really showed us Taylor Swift being Taylor Swift and not some other girl which she was pretending to be. It was much more light, positive and I genuinely felt I got to know Taylor better for who she was as a person and as an artist than I did before. 1989 was full of bops, so was Red... but Lover is the era that caught my attention the most

ARTPOPSLAYAGE

Reputation is by far my favorite album of hers, I've stanned her since her debut and loved all of her transformations eras to eras but I most related to Reputation when it was released and loved the darker sound and aestheticsย and how she took everything the tabloids said about her and used it to herย advantage.ย Perhaps it was a little angsty and petty but that's the kind of music I needed in my life at that time and helped me get through some tough relationship drama. Repย Tour was also the first tour of hers I got to attend and it was amazing! "Look What You Made Me Do" will always be that bish!ย

Same

I couldnโ€™t connect to that albumย at all (LWYMMD mv was a serve though, no doubt. And yeah, the tour was amazing as well)

But Lover is/was just what I needed. And since the eraย started just after I started into a new phase of my life moving to Denmark, this album is very special to me (as was my Joanne experience, when I moved abroad for the first time)

1989 was her prime.ย :bon:

I always find myself going back to it because I'm a sucker for every little song on it.

dont get me wrong I loved reputation era, it's my third fave from her. but, 1989 was flawless. literally a well planned, written, visualised and produced perfection.
