First of all, monetary and creative pursuits do not have to be mutually exclusive. I have absolutely no idea why this concept is so hard to grasp, especially when Gaga has melded both of them wayyyy before Enigma and Haus Labs. Besides, Enigma was simply a way for her to get back into the pop sphere with the general public and perform while not having to endure the strenuous travel schedule that touring would impose upon her. Making makeup is not an easy process as it takes a ton of hard work and passion (especially a start up, which is what Haus Labs is). We all know how hard Gaga works, sometimes at the expense of her own mental or physical health sadly. The point is, this isn't even close to being a cash grab or half assed on Gaga's end in any capacity. Instead of using her music as the conduit, Gaga is simply using makeup to further spread her messages of love and kindness. Contrary to what you may believe, makeup can affect people just as much as the other forms of art or mediums she has employed. Perhaps push that cynicism aside for a second and try to listen to another perspective surrounding the situation besides just calling it a cash grab because she's not doing what you wanted.
