Italian and Chinese studies suggest that the percentage of asymptomatic people is quite high. On the one hand, by being lax Sweden could acquire herd immunity way sooner than other countries. Oh girl, they decided to close all schools here except the ones with kids from the age 6-12 and some high schools. VertigoRogue 267 Posted April 5, 2020 Share Posted April 5, 2020 I am quarantined outside of Stockholm (the capital of sweden) for 3 weeks now and I had to go in to the city today to get some stuff from my apartment and chile let me tell you... ... people were walking around like nothing had happened, it was crowded, a lot of old people were outside minding their own business like miss rona wasn’t sneaking up on all of them. this is what happens when you can’t take drastic meassures. We can't just stay in lockdown for the next year and a half till a vaccine comes out We may find eventually what most of the rest of the world especially developed world is doing will not be possible to sustain and may have to be more lax like Sweden who knows One thing seems clear. The lockdowns are not gonna chock out the virus because it's too contagious. Even one person remaining infected will just start a new wave in no time so it's not like the lockdowns can end for very long if we wanna comit to the current route I'm not sure governemnts even really have a long term plan for this.
