The instrumentation is very heavy and edgy-sounding if it makes any sense, kind of rock-influenced. Same with 99% of the album. SL is more colorful sounding, which is very ARTPOP. ArtpopAct2 2,672 Posted March 30, 2020 Share Posted March 30, 2020 None, really. It sounds like a mixture of Fashion of His Love and DWUW but I don’t think it’d fit on either BTW or ARTPOP. It’s way less dark, experimental and rock influenced than most of BTW. And although ARTPOP’s tracks are more bright and happy, Gaga herself sounds way more angry/passionate on them than carefree like she does in SL and the production is overall more heavy/messy.
