The people who complain that her speeches are tiring and that she's full of s*** were real damn quiet when Gaga was vocal about LGBT rights. Just because it doesn't benefit you in the most direct way you want her to shut up and just sing you a song. Sad.

She literally just dropped the lead single of her new album.. how is she not using her artistry? :toofunny: You guys are too much. She's doing what she can to help prevent death and depression among her community, country and the world at the moment. It speaks volume about the type of person and artist she is by doing this - your statement just makes me cringe, honestly.

She's also owned by her label, lol. Do you really think she makes the decisions re: delays / Chromatica etc.?She doesn't. Whatever plans Interscope had re: Chromatica's release strategy have all been cancelled because they'd lose out on too much money - I could only imagine the delays re: shipments of physical copies around the world considering half the world is closed commercially / logistically. It's not just her fans that matter in this - Interscope employs a tonne of people and Gaga is their biggest drawcard when it comes to paying these people.

It's not the right time for her personally or professionally to release this album - respect her decision - she owes nothing to any of us. We'll get Chromatica soon, and when we do it'll be amazing.

She could have performed a non Chromatica song for us

You're missing my point completely. She doesn't owe her fans anything and does not have to perform for us. Her fanbase has become so entitled, it's so disappointing. Let her be.. she's doing other things and living her life. Why is it such an issue for a portion of her fanbase? She doesn't belong to us.

Wow, SPOT ON! I don't recall anyone moaning about the "same boring speeches" she gave about LGBT+ rights during TMB and BTWB. It's very disturbing how selfish some fans are about her new cause. They should be grateful they're not plagued by mental health issues or god forbid COVID-19.

You're a singer, you're not Princess Gaga of New York, you're not the secretary of State, you're a singer and I expected a song...but whatever

She is. Some of the most prestigious magazines ranked her last year among the 100 most powerful people in the world. Obviously not just because she was able to sing and act Shallow at the Oscars.

I agree, she doesn't owe us anything.

But there are a LOT of artists right now, engaging with their audience, releasing music to give the world some positivity and love. It does feel weird that the woman who always "thinks of her fans" when making music and says that her purpose is to give the world joy through her music - is suddenly very silent. I'm sure she donates a lot of money & the fact that she tries to spread kindness by talking about it is nice, but don't you agree that her singing a song wouldn't convey that message even better?

Yes, there are a lot of artists doing that. Meanwhile she's been contacting members of the World Health Organisation - those as the top to deepen her understanding of what is going on and naturally finding ways to assist. Oh, and she's also living her life doing what she wants. God forbid she does that. She has given her fans new music recently, seems she can never win with them. We'll hear her sing again.. I can't stand this fan bases attitude and expectation of her sometimes. Let the woman live. I think the message she conveyed in her speech could not be conveyed in a song, tbh. She said what she wanted to and it was 100% positive / relevant to the times.

It could have been if she sang The Cure (acoustic piano version)

:toofunny: Absolutely not. 'The Cure' was not the message she was putting out.
